About

Tom Beuchel is a New York-based audio engineer focused on making cool music with good people.

Fluent across genres from Rock to Hip Hop, with more musical theatre influence than is generally advisable, his work spans collaborations with Grammy-winning artists including David Crosby, Daniel Caesar, and André 3000, and independent artists around the world. Regardless of scale, Tom approaches each record with the same attention to artistic vision and relentless work ethic.

A musician as well as an engineer, Tom is known for his versatility, working across roles - from playing and arranging parts in recording sessions, to final mixing and mastering - he brings a broad musical perspective and definitive technical know-how to every project he is a part of.

Contrary to popular belief Tom is not totally deaf. I understand that certain low frequencies are still pleasant to him. He pounds on the console like an ape when he thinks he got a good take. I pay him in bananas, so I’ll be using Tom again.

You love them, I live in them. I’ve helped to build and maintain these and they’re great places for making music. Plus I’m told a bunch of expensive gear is impressive to people.

Let’s work! (Or talk, etc)
